What is better - Battlefield 3 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?

I am trying to decide which one to buy. My friends tell me to get Battlefield 3, but the people at GameStop (a gaming store) tell me to get COD: MW3. What do I do?What is better - Battlefield 3 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?
Battlefield 3 is a beast of a multiplayer game with amazing graphics and plenty of items to unlock. the single player campaign is also very well done although extremely short. if i had to choose only one shooter to play this year BF3 would be it. truly an amazing game. one last comment on the flashlight attachment...extremely obnoxious and unnecessary!!!
dont listen to the idiots telling you cod is always the same. Its similar but not the same - there is a big difference on the handling of Black Ops and COD MW3. MW3 does however play like MW2.



To be honest the best one is Probably BF3.



But the perfect game would be a hybrid of the 3. Black ops included.



PS dont rely on videos - you cant feel anything with your eyes - you wouldnt pick a chocolate bar just coz it looks good on an advert or by a car coz it looks good on Forza lol. The games play different and thats whats gonna be the decider.

Maps - BF3 - Large, distruction, slower game tho but more controlled

COD - small with no vantage points - people come from all directions and its hectic.

Playability - BF3 good but sluggish compared to cod, but game is slower

winner COD is more fluent and the frame rate def helps although animation is better on BF3



Sound - BF3



Vehicles - BF3 (counting killstreaks as vehicles in cod) Only because you have full control - would have been awsome to have a cods killstreaks active while your up in a fighter, so you can shoot those down 2.



Graphics - on console i gotta say cod - is again more smooth.



Players - humm close call - people will be people



Campers - loads more on BF3 at the mo - cods maps are 2 small to do it lol







forget all this, i got both on release.



both had hype, battlefield more.

COD MW3 should have been MW2.1 - map packs and dlc guns, percs and killstreaks. NOT the same game as BOps.What is better - Battlefield 3 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?
Here's my take on BF3. (PS3)



Couple days playing with it I found it boring...Maps are too big and there's not much people on console. (Even when full) I've been a PC Battlefield player and the more people you have the better it gets ! This is my first BF on console and it seems deserted, meaning not much action is happening.



It does get frustrating when you run for miles and then get kill when you arrive at flag placement. But it just a matter of time until you get more skills (real life skills) and learn that it a slower paced game than MW.



The campaign isn't that bad, I was expecting worst after reading all the reviews. But nothing exceptional either. You'll definitely feel deja vu. It's a trial and error campaign and you'll be very frustrated for dying so suddenly every 5 mins.



Anyhow, seems like a lot of negatives but I really do like the game the more you play the more you like it.What is better - Battlefield 3 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?
It all depends on what you want to do and you'll hear tons of different answers. Personally, I like BF3 because of how different it is from MW3 in terms of vehicles and map size.



If your friends play BF3 then get that so you can play with them, but if you want to get MW3 then get that.



Watch the trailers and decide which one looks cooler because they're both good games.
Don't listen to the people at Gamestop, they are payed to say that.



MW3 is a classic shooter. Nothing special. Close corners, fire weapons, rank up, yada yada. BF3, however, there are vehicles, destructible environments, and jets (!).



Personal preference between up-close and personal battles and big, epic battles.
it is of course battlefield 3 because it is best graphic and most realistic and best weapon.

can you drive a tanks on mw3? no.

can you fly a jet on mw3? no.

and is it big maps on mw3? no.

so select battlefield 3 NO!

It just depends on your hobit .

it heard that the BF3 published early than MW3.and my friends told me that it seems the BF3 is popular than MW3 by game guy .

maybe you can have a try from it which has professional service and compotitive price ^^
It's all opinion. Both are highly addictive, but I prefer the massive maps, destructible environments, and large amount of vehicles in BF3. Call of duty is fat and fun, but you play one modern warfare, you've played them all
Lol, not being well sold... I have both and I play both, they're both HUGE games. It really depends on what you like. I don't like all the vehicles in BF so I tend to play CoD more often. It's just personal preference. Look at videos online and see what you'd like better, that's what I'd do. :d
I just got bf3 and the multiplayer is so much better than the mw games. Its way more in depth, you have to play with patience and strategy instead of just running around blasting.
It is a matter of opinion, but I would say that BF3 has better online, and MW3 has better singleplayer.

Watch some videos of them and make a choice based on that.
Depends on one's opinion. I played BF3, but got bored easily. I like MW3 better.
