If I was a massive fan of Bad Company 1 and 2, would I like Battlefield 3?

In truth I've not been really following the development of Battlefield 3, or played the beta/demo, so am kinda out of the loop in it, but always loved BC.If I was a massive fan of Bad Company 1 and 2, would I like Battlefield 3?
Not on PC you won't. JUST because of the incredibly irritating Battlelog website you have to go through to get into a game.If I was a massive fan of Bad Company 1 and 2, would I like Battlefield 3?
Yeah, I played BC2 and I love BF3. Both are in my top 5 shooters right now.

They also tried to have the gameplay similar to BC2.
