What game should i get for my brother? Skyrim or battlefield 3?

Ok so it is almost my bro's birthday and he wants a game and my dad said maybe to him and my mom said no to him. Now i feel sad so i told i'll get him a game. He said either get Skyrim or Battlefield 3 for him. What game should i get an RPG or a FPS?What game should i get for my brother? Skyrim or battlefield 3?
it depends on what he likes better multiplayer for battlefield 3 (skyrim doesn't have multiplayer) or skyrim for discovering places and learning what is new
If he's into the FPS scene with his friends, then BF3 (I'm surprised if his friends picked BF3 instead of MW3). TBH, I have both and I love Skyrim a bit better. It just gives you tons of stuff to do and multiple areas to explore. If he enjoyed Oblivion, then he's bound to spend coutless hours exploring the vast region of Skyrim.What game should i get for my brother? Skyrim or battlefield 3?
Skyrim i would say...theres lots to do and it will keep your brother busy for 300+ hours at least. BF3 is a serious team based shooter that requires concentration and team work to play. Last thing people want is young kids messing around on it like they did on MW2 ...and i see they are already doing on MW3.
