Most of the answers your going to get here are opinions, including mine. Personally, I think that Battlefield 3 will bring more new stuff to the table (Enhanced graphics, vehicles, destructible objects, ect.) So more people are leaning towards BF3 than MW3. However, I think that MW3 will bring the good ole' classic gameplay back that we all loved in MW2 with less annoyances (One Man Army/Danger Close, Commando, ect.) with some moderate changes. I will be getting both games, and I am leaning towards MW3 just a little bit because I know how good the previous MW series games were. I have also played Battlefield 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 so I also know how those games do as well. So, here is my vote:

Battlefield 3, no doubt. MW3 is just not bringing anything new and will be like any other COD game. But Battlefield 3 has a new engine and is bringing new things to the gaming community. It was like this first. COD was better than Battlefield because COD had zombies and a good singleplayer. They will both be amazing games. I'm buying both, actually. I played Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Beta and it was pretty fun. I think Call of Duty would be the best for Campaign and Battlefield 3 will be the best for Multiplayer.
I believe both will be GREAT and i'll be picking up both. As far as better im going to say BF3 because people are getting tired of cod and battlefield is bringing something new that cod doesn't. Seem like cod is the same game every year.

It always matters on what you like-like myself i do not care for Battlefield but on the other hand i like modern warfare and my friend are different so it all depends on you.
I played Battlefield 2 and love that game, was perfect! So i bought BF3 for the PS3. I'm very disappointed with BF3! Mainly because the aiming system is horrible.... You can sneak up behind a guy, be 5 feet away fro mhim, shoot from the hip and totally MISS him, it happens way too often to shrug it off as crappy aiming. The sensitivity of ridiculous. Even with the sensitivity turn just about all the way down, it's STILL to sensitive. Aiming with a x3.4 or x4 score is very difficult. Forget about shooting anyone who's a hundred yards away, it's probably not gonna happen, the bullets just don't hit... I hope they fix this issue. I am hearing that mw3 has a better campaign, but also hearing that battlefeild 3 has unbeatable online gameplay . I play mw3 online myself and am enjoying it tremendously but B3 has been winning tons of awards for its online play also you get to drive tanks and vehicles and stuff . What Graphics card would be good to run battlefield 3?

Getting a new card might require you to upgrade other hardware such as the PSU. Also the processor isn't very good, it will cause bottlenecking issues with a high end gpu. If you would want to upgrade the CPU, go for a quad. Although if you go with a quad you will also have to buy a new mobo to support it.

as aaron mentioned you have a intergrated audio processor...... these are built into the motherboard and rely on the cpu ..... however dedicated soundcards are pretty cheap and you can buy a impressive soundcard like the "Asus Xonar DG 5.1 PCI Sound Card "( http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Component鈥?/a> ) ..for just 拢24 .... and this is actually a very good soundcard
it also includes a headphone amp which is actually ideal for battlefeild 3 especially when playing online... however combined with a decent speaker set up you will get some excellent audio reproduction
also when using a dedicated soundcard like the Asus Xonar DG 5.1 PCI Sound Card this takes the strain from the cpu leaving more resources to run the game..... infact some people beleive your game frame rates can improve when using a dedicated soundcard ..... the same applies when using a dedicated ethernet (Lan) card.... basically the more the cpu has to support ( in the shape of intergrated hardware ) this will obviously affect performance in games and programs... so by offloading these tasks to dedicated cards .... equals more resources for the cpu... equals better performance....

That isn't a sound card, it's an integrated motherboard audio chip from Realtek. Yes, naturally it's compatible with games. But a dedicated / discrete sound card generally provides better audio quality than integrated motherboard audio. Want better sound? Consider grabbing an ASUS Xonar DX card, or Creative X-Fi Titanium card.Would an ALC888s audio card be ok/good to use for Battlefield 3?
The onboard sound is always good enough. The processor doesn't come close to using enough resources on the sound to justify buying a soundcard.
You only need a good soundcard if you have just bought expensive speakers of an expensive headset.

With a fast multicore processor like you have, you should be OK. It's a software sound chain, but you SHOULD have the spare cycles to run it just fine.

I'd suggest BF3, I have gears right now and it gets boring fast. The campaign is kinda fun, but nothing really good. I never had gears 1 or 2 so I couldn't follow the storyline that much. The multiplayer in gears is really kind of luck based, because they're is only like 5 weapons in the game, 2 machine guns and 2 shot guns, and they're equal in strength so you can't win because you have a good gun. I'd get battlefield because for some reason first person shooters are really fun and addicting, I don't have battlefield but I have call of duty and I'm guessing they're similar. But if you can you should get modern warfare 3 it wouldn't be a best seller if it wasn't amazing.
